The pie charts illustrates how the ages of the populations of Yemen and Italy varied before and after projections between 2000 and 2050.
To begin with, it can be clearly seen that the figures of 0-14 years were the biggest figure at 50% and 62% in Yemen and Italy in 2000. On the other hand, the second biggest number were different. The number of 15-59 years accounted for almost half proportion at 46% in Yemen but it had taken at 14 % in Italy. Besides, it occupied the lowest figure in Italy. The number of over 60 years accounted at 4% and 24% in Yemen and Italy respectively.
Meanwhile, the projections will change the pie charts significantly in 2050. Firstly, the biggest figure changed in both charts. The top figures will be 15-59 years in both charts. The second biggest figure will be 0-14 years and over 60 years at 37% and 42% in Yemen and Italy each. In addition, the next figure is going to over 60 years at 6% in Yemen and the figure of 0-14 years will follow at 12% in Italy in 2050.
