The charts below show Australian dollars in Australia's trade in three nations in 2004 to 2009
The given chart indicates revenue that Australia earned from imports and exports to China, Japan and the United States in the course of 5 years, starting in 2004
Overall, while sales from Australia to China witnessed an upward trend, those to Japan and the US fluctuated. Australian purchases from China experienced a similar change to exports’, yet imports from the 2 others countries were stable during the period. Australian Dollars in transaction with China occupied the first spot among 3 partners regarding imports, but this position belonged to Japan when considering exports.
In 2004, China paid Australia roughly 10.5 million dollars for its exports. Then, Chinese consumers had a tendency to use more Aussie products, which boosted their sales up to about 38 million dollars 5 years later. The trend of Australian imports from China mirrored that of exports, which started at nearly 19 million dollars before rocketing and hitting the peak of 30 million dollars in 2009.
Whereas trade balance between Australia and China reversed from deficit to surplus in 2008, that with Japan and the US stayed in just one form. revenue Australia earned from exports to Japan stood at 21 million dollars in 2004 before fluctuating and coming back to the initial sales in 2009. In contrast, the figure for imports remained stable throughout the course at 20 million dollars. Data of Aussie imports from Japan was also that from the US and mostly doubled Australian exports turnover to the US from 2004 to 2009.
