The charts below show the number of Japanese tourists traveling abroad between 1985 and 1995 and Australia's share of the Japanese tourist market.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The provided bar chart illustrates information about the amount of Japanese nationals (in millions) who traveled abroad in a ten year period, starting from 1985, while the line graph the percentage of those who visited Australia in the same period.

Overall, it can be seen that there was a steady increase in the number of Japanese who went outside of their country towards the end of the period and the same happened in the amount who visited Australia only.

According to the data, in 1985, nearly 5 million tourists traveled abroad, with 2% of them choosing Australia, the lowest figure for the country. Furthermore, 5 years later, the number of Japanese was more than double with 11 million, while the percentage of them visiting Australia climbed to 4,3%.

Regarding the latter part of the graphs, from 1990 to 1995, there was a fluctuation in the number of tourists, while the proportion of them visiting Australia was getting bigger. Finally, in 1995, 15 million went abroad, the highest figure overall, whilst 6% of them went to Australia.
