The given charts provide information about the industrial, agricultural, and domestic water consumption in six countries of the world.
Overall, the highest percentage of water used for agricultural purposes in South America, Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia, whereas North America and Europe used the most water in the industrial sector.
To be more precise, North America and Europe have a similarity water consumption. In both of these countries, about half of the water used in the industrial sector, and almost one-third for agricultural use, while 13% and 15% of the water used for domestic purposes respectively.
On the other hand, around 80% of water consumption in South America, Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia used on cultivation. Besides, households, which comprised almost one-ten of water usage in Africa and Asia, whereas domestic used made up 19% of South America's water. In contrast, the industrial sector accounted for about 10% of South America, Africa, and South East Asia's water used, while in Central Asia, merely used up 5% of the water in industrial usage.
