The pie chart illustrates the percentage of British particular university’s pupils who could talk other languages expect English in 2000 and 2010.
According to the charts, Spanish was the language used by around 32% of total students in both 2000 and 2010. Pupils who were not bilingual accounted for 20% in 2000, and it slowly fell to 20% in 2010. While only 10% of students knew two other languages by the time of 2000, 30% of them are able to understand in Spanish at this moment, and both rates were increased by 5% in 2010.
German contributed for 10%, which remained unchanged, but there was a little rise for “another language” that was 15% in 2000, and rose to 20% by 2010. In the first chart, there was half the amount of Spanish speaker for French, and then gradually decreased by 5% in 2010.
In conclusion, as pie charts tell, Spanish was the popular language among the university students.
