The diagram illustrated the proportion of UK graduates and postgraduates students after graduating from university in 2008.

Overview, further study and part-time were the most common choices to both types of students. Unfortunately, unemployment also showed a significant number after graduation. Voluntary work was the less favorable option for both groups.

Further study and part-time job was the most typical path graduates and postgraduates would choose. For graduates, there were almost 2 third of students choose further study and part-time work while the number of further study students is 29665 which was almost double the number of part-time students which was 17735.

For postgraduate students, further study and part-time work also occupied 2 third of the proportion. In the meanwhile, both choices shared almost the same number of students which was around 26000 students

Employment showed a remarkable number in both graduates. There were 16235 unemployment students in graduates while there were 1625 students postgraduate of unemployment. Both are near 1 third out of the samples. For Voluntary work, it was the less common choice no matter in graduates or postgraduate and it was only around 5 % in both.
