The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not go into full-time work did after leaving college in 2008. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar charts depict the destinations of the graduates and postgraduate students of the UK that did not engage themselves in full-time work after college education in 2008.

Most of the graduates of the UK were pursuing further study at around 29,665 people as the bar chart suggests. The second dominant activity they chose was part-time work and unemployment which counted 17,735 and 16,235 respectively. A little portion of them chose voluntary work counting 3500 at that time.

The postgraduate students chose these options not so polarising like the graduates. They chose further study, part-time work, and unemployment in a decreasing order at around 2725, 2535 and 1624 respectively. The insignificant number of them did voluntary work counting 345.

Students of both domains prefer further study mostly and least interested in voluntary work, the numbers of which in both cases were insignificant. While the graduates involved in part-time work and unemployment are almost the same in amount, the postgraduates involved in part-time work and pursued further study are almost the same in number.
