The following bar chart compares and contrasts the export earnings in five categories of one country between 2015 and 2016. Such changes were indicated in percentages in the given table.
At first glance, it is evident that petroleum products were the biggest export earner in both years while textiles were the lowest. In addition, all categories increased their exports in 2016 with the exception of gems and jewelry.
Petroleum products and engineered goods were the dominant export earner in 2015 standing at about 60 and 57 billion respectively and exhibited an upward trend by 3% and 8.5% in 2016.
Likewise, Textiles -though achieving the lowest quota of all categories- made the largest percentile jump by 15.24% to reach approximately 31 billion in 2016 which happened to be the same amount of money achieved by agricultural products which remained almost unchanged in both years with a marginal increase by 0.81.
On the other hand, gems and jewelry was the only category that its exports declined to reach just over 40 billion in 2016.
