The charts give information about two genres of TV programmes watched by men and women and four different age groups in Australia.
The first chart illustrates the number of males and females have been watching reality shows. The second bar chart depicts the percentage of television programme (game) watched by both genders.
Overall, in both charts, in Australia, greatest number of TV programmes being interested by over 45 years old people. Whereas, 16 to 24 years youth have identically same interest. In the initial bar chart, females percentage have been significantly more than in latter chart having equal percentage to males. From 16 to 45+ years both genders having increase by reality shows. Whilst, game shows popularity gradually declined. Although, there have been some fluctuations in both charts.
It can be seen that, in the first chart, nearly 70% of women are being watched reality shows which is approximately 35% more than men (considerably less than 40%). Moreover, most age groups (16-24, 25-34, 35-44 and 40+ aged respectively) have watching reality programmes increasingly ( just over 50%, 60%, marginally less than 70% and just below 70% respectively).
Whilst, in latter bar chart, the same age groups except 16-24 youngsters and 45+aged, have shown less interest watching game shows ( under 40% and 70% respectively). It is interesting that, equal percentage of game shows being enjoyed by watching on TV by both genders ( around 60%). However, compared to initial bar chart females, 25-34 and 35-44 aged habitants percentage is dropped in game shows. In addition, males watching rate is increased, from considerably less than 40% in reality programmes to 60% game shows. Even though, 16-24 and 45+ age groups watching both genres of TV programmes by same percentage.
