The two charts represent the average levels of participated students in education as well as the highest education level of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore.
Overall, throughout the years spent in schools, it is shown that the number of adult male’s participation was above the number of adult female’s participation in education. In addition, while the highest level of education among university qualifications and master qualifications had the highest share.
In regards to the amount of participated students in education, it is obvious that male adults are the ones who participated more than females. In 2010, the number of males exceeded the number of females in contrary to year 2000 where it shows a slight difference in the number of participation according to females and males.
Regarding their level of education, there is a major difference in the level of education from year 2000 to 2010.There is a sharply increase in the percentage requiring university qualifications and master qualifications in 2010. Just over half of the students applied for both university and master qualifications in 2010 compared to 2000 that represented less than a fifth of the level of education among students.
