The provided line graph and two pie charts illustrate the detailed information about the number of kilometers travelled for the three purposes and the percentage of the five types of vehicles used in Britain respectively.
At first glance, while the 1990-2010 period witnessed a considerable change in the figure for average distance travelled belonged to the three purposes, the distribution of vehicle types seemed minimally changed in this period.
As can be seen from the line graph, the remaining just under 8000 kilometers was allocated to the number of kilometers used for commuting in the UK in the period of five years, after a considerable upturn of approximately 1500 kilometers in this figure between 1990 and 1993. Then, from 1998 to 2010, there was a dramatic decrease of nearly 6000 kilometers in this number. After a slight fluctuation, in 2010, the number of kilometers used for transport stood at the same figure in 1990, at just over 3000 kilometers. Also, the number of personal distance rose minimally by 300 kilometers during this period of time.
Turn to the two pie charts, the percentage of cars used ranked first among the five types of vehicles between 1990 and 2010, at 63% and 59% respectively. The figure for trucks used in Britain, which formed 30%, stood at a significant part out of the five types. Meanwhile, there were inconsiderable data in the percentage of buses, motorcycles and other, which accounted for 5%, 3% and 3% in order in 2010.
