The diagram below show the design for a wind turbine and its location. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given illustrations summarize the optimum spot and outline of a wind turbine which harnesses wind energy to produce electricity.
In general, the first diagram describes the process involving 3 main stages, from the initial coming of wind to the turbine's spindle to the eventual generation of electricity. Meanwhile, the secone picture analyses how different the energy will be made depending on what places the turbine is constructed on.
In the first presentation, gust of wind lets the fan blades rotate made from fibreglass or wood. At the top of the rurbine is a wind sensor, which detect the speed, direction and strength of wind. Once the fan blades rotate, the turbine turn the generator and manufacture electricity, Subsequently, the newly-made energy will be transferred through the tower made of steel, which helps sustain the whole construction. Ultimately, the electricity went to several places. Thanks to the wind sensor, a computer from the connected to the turbine calculates how much electricity is made.
In the second graph, there's a comparison between 2 distinct locations. As for the first choice, building the wind turbine with the bottom half under the water level can not fully exploit the landscape, while the second option of putting the turbine at the peak of a mountain can make the turbine face the maximum wind strength and more electricity will be manufactured.
