The given maps illustrate the transformations which one university campus experienced over a period of 33 years from 1985 to the present time (2018).
In 1985, the university grounds had various sites. To the northwest, was a library. Car park, physics and biology blocks were situated in the north east, and to the south east was an admin building. Also, another car park was located in south west.
Remarkable changes has accrued today. Firstly, a number of buildings are repurposed. While the south-western car park has become a bust terminal, albeit in smaller size, a small circular-shaped lecture theatre has been erected in the place of the other car park in north-eastern. Moreover, the library has enlarged to the south, becoming a library and IT center.
Secondly, three sites are completely demolished. These included the physics and the chemistry blocked which have been overhauled to make room for a science laboratory and the biology block has been demolished as well.
Lastly, instead of the road, now different areas are connected to each other through footpath which have resulted in reducing the size of some building, such as the admin building.
