The diagram below shows how electricity is generated in a hydroelectric power station Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

Given is the diagram delineating how electricity can be made in a hydroelectric power station. It is perceptible that this is a linear process with multiple steps, which commences from the transferring water from the river to a high level reservoir and ends with delivering electricity to the nation grid.
The process divides into two phases, day and night, which are performed alternately. In the daytime, the process initiates when river water flows into a high level reservoir surrounded by a dam. Following that, water flows during the day to generate electricity at the power station, which only works in the day and closes at night. The electricity is then generated here, followed by transporting them by many power lines to the nation garid. However, there is usually a surplus of water from the dam, this amount of water is run to the lower level reservoir. In the nighttime, the excess water flows back in the contrariwise direction towards an initial reservoir and the river. This nocturnal phase is performed in the same way as during the day but reserves the sequence of the diurnal process. At the night stage, the water stored in the lower level reservoir is reverted, it is pumped back to the turbines which create a push to pump water back to the high-level reservoir.
