The diagram provides information about how to produce electricity from geothermal power. It is clear to see that there are five main stages in this procedure.
The process is started by pumping down cold water into the injection well, which is 4.5 km long. Next, cold water goes through the geothermal zone, which is come from the hot rocks. In this stage, cold water is transferred to hot water and gets into the production well. After that, this hot water is pumped up to the condenser and then is streamed when going to the fourth stage. The depth of the production well is the same as the injection well. In the last step, by the streaming, the turbine is rotated, produces power in the generator, and generates electricity.
In summary, to generate electricity from thermal energy, there are five major steps: hot water, which is made from the geothermal zone and pumped down cold water, is streamed in the condenser. Following the working of the turbine, the electricity is produced in the generator.
