The diagram is a graphical representation of electricity production using geothermal energy. This is involves considerable underground processes as well as , equipment assisted techniques. Overall, there is considerable involvement of machinery along with men with the ability to operate the same.
This process requires identifying the 'hot spots' with the right levels of geothermal rocks. Having done so, cold water is pumped below the soil, depending upon the depth it could be a few kilometers before the resources are influenced. Once it is injected , it gets heated thanks to the burning mass, and it finally pumped up.
The beauty of this formation is that the underground furnace remains unaffected. It is only water passing through this phenomenon which is used in generation of electricity. The hot water is pumped up, into a condenser. Presumably, the steam solidifies a bit, then passes on to the turbine. Usually, they rotate due to the flowing force and there is a device called generator which results in creation of electricity.
This generator is unique because it is harnessed by the turbines, but retains in it the ability to convert energy to electricity. From here the electricity flows into the geothermal power plant, only to be directed to places or uses where it is required.
