The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity
These pictures depict how a power plant uses geothermal energy and converts it into electricity. Overall, these are approximately five stages where it all starts with water pumping to generator turbine at the end.
Initially, cold water going to the injection well in order to be pumped. After that, on the 4.5 kilometres depths it is placed into geothermal zone which is saturated by hot rocks. The following step is that the water which is hot now is goes to the production well to be pumped up after. Once the water on the ground, it goes to the special machine which is called condenser. After this stage steam goes next on the top of the machine right to the next place. Firstly, the hot steam is put into cylindrical turbine in order to be powered there. After that, the energy which is produced by the machine goes to the generator to be converted into electricity. Finally, the processed energy goes to the high voltage line on the transmission tower, which provides electricity further.
