The diagram illustrates the different steps of the process, by which beer is manufactured.
Overall, making beer from barley is a linear process of 10 stages that involve different types of machines.
First, malted barley is milled in a machine. After that resulted barley powder is transferred to the second machine for mashing, where water is also added. After being mashed, the pulp is put into another machine, in which lautering takes place with the addition of spent grain animal feed. Once, this stage is completed, the product is boiled in the boiler, into which sugar and hops are also added. Before being transferred to the cooler, the product is whirl pooled.
When it is cool enough, the result is put into a machine where the fermentation occurs with the addition of yeast, in this stage, carbon dioxide is produced as a byproduct. When the fermentation is completed, the product is let to mature in containers before being filtered. After filtering, beer is bottled and packed in large containers, which are ready to be distributed for consumption.
