Overall, the production of good goes through 9 stages before being sold, begin with raw materials, manufactured components and end with sales. While there are 7 ways to receive information for further adjustment.

At the beginning, raw materials and manufactured components are stored for later assembly. The quantity and the quality of the goods will be determine by the production planning, which is decided by the product's design. The product research is the section that give out the design. After assembly, the products are inspected and tested to maintain quality control. Those units that pass this stage will be despatched and then offered for sales.

There are many ways that the factory or company can received feedback to having appropriated adjustment. The level of sales help determine the production planning as well as influence the market research to make suitable change in design, advertising and packaging. Testing process can also give back information that adjust the design. The quality and quantity of components and material in the storage can also be influenced by the the production planning.
