The diagram illustrates the method of production of electricity from geothermal energy. It consist several steps.
Overall, it can be seen that there are many parts in this process of making electricity starting from cold water, like cold water container, 4.5 km long tube, hot rocks, condenser, turbine, generator and power house.
The process starts with the cold water in which cold water is accumulated in a container and then pumped down through a well known as injection well that is 4.5 km long. The temperature of cold water is raised by passing it through hot rocks which is known as geothermal zone.
In the next step, the hot water is pumped up by the production well . It transfer the hot water into the condenser in which water chnges to its vapour form or stream. Which is followed by the stream being strike on the turbine to rotate it. The turbine is connected with a generator, which move along with the turbine. Generator is then connected to a power house, which then transmits the electricity to the houses.
