The three maps reveal the information about what alterations occurred in West Park secondary school 6 decades from its establishment in the mid of the twentieth century.
A quick look at the diagrams is enough to make it clear that, the main building and road appeared similar in given three maps, while other changes are considerable except from these two.
First of all, in1950 , on the northeast corner school situated near the accommodation on the northwest side. Playground can be seen in the southeast which covered same area as farmland on the other side in the southwest. In comparison with 1950,after 30 years, school building located as similar as in 1950. However, accommodation on the northwest corner converted into car park and science block in 1980.location and size of playground was similar as in 1950 and the construction of sports field occurred in place of farmland in the southwest side of the map in 1980.
As compared with 1980, after three decades in 2010, school building appeared same in 2010 in the northeast corner. The location of science block was similar. Surprisingly, the area of car park had increased by containing the place of sports field in southwest corner. At the same time, the sports field area arranged into playground by making it small in the southeast corner of the map.
