The diagram illustrates the process of producing woolen goods.
Overall, there are ten primary stages in this process, beginning with the rearing of sheep and ending with the finished goods.
In the first and second steps, sheep are sheared until they have enough wool for removal known as shearing. After that, this wool is cleaned and then dried in the third and fourth steps. In step 5, it is undergone further processing called carding by machine and then this carded wool is almost ready to be made into different products. After the carding stage, some of the product is used to make string and may be recycled in step 6.
Another part of the product from carding step is manufactured into tufts of wool and then stored. Next, the wool is used for spinning into balls of yarn. Finally, these balls of yarn may be used for knitting or making some woolen goods such as jackets or carpets.
