In general, there are 10 main steps of production, from harvesting pods as the first stage to press beans in order to turn product into liquid chocolate.
Initially, cacao tree plays role as raw material that grows in specific regions like South America, Africa and Indonesia will be selected for which ripe red pods will be harvested and cut off to take white cocoa beans inside. Then, beans will be fermentated and spreaded under the sun to make them dry, which are the third and fourth steps of process. After that, they are all put into large packages that have been scaled to certain weight for each sack and delivered to designated factory using train or lorry. By going to the manufacure facility, beans will be roasted with high temperature of 350 Celsius degree. The next stage is to crush the beans so that outer shell will be extracted. Finally, people press inner part to produce liquid chocolate for usage.
