The diagram describes the reproduction of the honey bee.
Overall, there are various stages involved in the cyclical process of a honey bee, from females laying a couple of eggs every 3 days to their eggs developing as mature ones.
At the beginning of the process, female bees often produce one or two eggs throughout 3 days after mating for life. Therefore, each honey bee begins its life as an egg with the hatching process taking place at least 9 days. It also takes eggs a half of a week to crack and a newborn bee, which is commonly called a nymph, will emerge from it.
The process continues with nymphs growing, which generally lasts 21 days during the period. At that time, nymphs shed their outer layer three times 2 days apart and their sizes are gradually increasing day by day. The second molting time occurs in a week when the first time a newborn hatched. Next, nymphs undergo the final molting in the following 2 days, which is noticed as the last cycle of nymphs because after that, they take a metamorphosis stage and form themselves into young adult ones, having sizes far bigger than those of nymphs. To grow their full lengths and weights, maturing ones have to spend 4 days of their life. Finally, the cycle begins again when those female adult honey bees mate and lay eggs.
