The diagrams below show the changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons were relevant.
The figures illustrate how West Park Secondary School has changed over a sixty-year period, reporting the maps of 1950, 1980 and 2010.
Overall, the biggest shift is represented by the substitution of houses and farmland on the left side of the map with a car park, a sports field and a science block, which were not present in the initial realization.
Between 1950 and 1980 the houses on the north-west were replaced, left to right, by a car park and a science block while the farmland on the south-west became a sports field. The new block was built immediately on the left of the school main building, which was unmoved.
In the following thirty years, it was not constructed any new structure, yet the organization of the sections changed significantly. The car park was extended, becoming the vastest area of the school and, in order to allow this change, the sports field and the playground areas were almost halved in dimensions with the former moved to the right part of the map. Also in this period, the position and the dimension of the main building remained unchanged.
