Give are the two maps comparing the transformations of the town, Pebbleton from 20 years before and to the present day.
Perceptibly, the outlook of the region has diametrically changed with more residential house and more access to pedestrian-friendly amenities.
In the past, the town was divided into three areas: the center in the northeast, the seafront and the south side of the river. To begin with the center, simply had houses as well as few trees. In the northwest corner seen from the center, the place was for old fort as well as lighthouse. Following the seafront was a film studio and the playing field which is located in the southern part. Additionally,a road bridge was the only way to go to school to the south of the river.
After two decades, there was the mushrooming of housing and appearance new community centre is built next to it. The old fort has been replaced with a children’s playground though the lighthouse remains unchanged. On the south side of the community centre and behind the light lane, build a new tennis court that links with a footpath which is connected to the school along with coast road and the other side of a small river. The seafront of this region experienced drastic changes such as a former film studio on the southwestern tip of the peninsula is presently a block of flats.
