The diagrams show changes in a student common room.
The pictures illustrate the layout changes in a student common room from 5 years ago up until now.
Overall, it is clear that the student common room is now significantly different from that of 5 years ago, which meant a convert from a plain zone to a room with more amenities, such as self-served machine and entertainment-related gadgets.
Five years ago, there used to be two benches, but now one of which has been replaced with a microwave. Moreover, over the past 5 years, the number of circular tables has reduced from four to two and instead of using the same type of tables, there is a newly-added rectangular table with a bigger capacity of 8 people. Another difference can be noticed is that a bench for laptops has also been added to the south of the common room. In the southwest corner, the previous desk has been replaced with a combination of a television and three armchairs. Another addition can be seen is a vending machine for drinks, which the room 5 years ago didn’t include. However, the locations of some amenities including a sink, a cupboard and a refrigerator have remained unchanged for 5 years.
