From an overall perspective, it is conspicuous that most Australian residents consume energy and greenhouse gas emissions for heating and water heating respectively. Nevertheless, both pie graphs should observe the reversed pattern for cooling.
Taking a first look at Australia's energy consumption graph, it is obvious heating function accounts for 42 percent, which is more than two times when compared with the others except water heating. Following that, the share of volume heating occupies nearly one-third of the total. Subsequently, the proportion of energy used for refrigeration, cooling, and lighting is under 10 percent and others elements stand for exactly 15 percent.
Moving to the second graph, the percentage of greenhouse gas emissions consumed for water heating has the same pattern as energy use and hosts the first rank in this pie graph. The share of heating and refrigeration in this pie chart nearly meets a similar record, with no more than 15 percent in each portion. Finally, the proportion of cooling and lighting in the second graph is still under 10 percent, and greenhouse gas emissions for other appliances is merely higher than two times when compared with the former graph.
