Overall, heating consumes almost half of the energy while water heating emits more gases.
The household energy used for heating is about two- fifth, less than a third is used for water heating and about a fifth energy is for other appliances. Refrigeration, heating and cooling used the remaining 14% of energy to function.
There is 32% of gas emission when boiling water which is almost the same as the energy used. The vapor released when other appliances are in use is more than a quarter and less than a fifth from refrigeration. A quarter of greenhouse gas is emitted from heating, cooling and lightening.
