The two diagrams delineate renovations to a residence hall since 2010 to today.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is obvious that five mainly changes have been made to student accommodation, mainly related to infrastructure development.
As is presented in the two diagrams, the layout was designed in 2010 and included three study/bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom, one hallway, and three garden patches. Firstly, the hallway was directly accessible from the main southeast entrance. Opposite it were the study/bedroom and the kitchen to the east, another bedroom was located to the northeast and the remaining one was to the west. Besides that, the bathroom and the living room were along the corridor leading to the end of the building. Subsequently, garden patches were outside the building to the north and south.
At present, the main entrance remains unchanged, the main hall is reduced in size to make way for an en-suite room, which is connected with the student bedroom to the southeast. The kitchen is expanding its size to serve as a social area for residents. As a result, the living room and the garden in the northern corner of the building were demolished to make way for two new study/bedrooms. Another major change to the student accommodation has been the construction of a carpark, replacing the garden patch to the south.
