Essay topics:

The first chart below shows how energy is used in an average Australian household. The second chart shows the greenhouse gas emissions which result from this energy use.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two pie charts demonstrate the average amount of energy consumption and the emission recorded in an Australian family.
Generally, most energy was spent on heating and water heating, and the quantities of emission exhausted from the two activities accounted almost a half of the total greenhouse gas.
In the first pie chart, it can be seen that heating took up 42% of energy. Ranking secondly in consuming energy, water heating accounted for one-half of the proportion of energy use. Sequentially, the percentage of energy used for refrigeration, lightning and cooling ranked lower than the formers figures, with 7%, 4% and 2% respectively. Additionally, the last figure in the chart, which consumed 15% of energy, is other appliances.
The second pie chart reflects the percentage of gas emitted from the energy used mentioned earlier, and unsurprisingly, water heating is the leading figure with 32% of emissions. Other appliances, which ranks lower the previous one, but still has a high amount of greenhouse gas, attributed to 28% of emissions. The lowest, which is the one emitted less gas, is cooling, contributes only 3%. The other figures, including heating and refrigeration, are to blame for 15% and 14% of greenhouse gas emissions respectively.
