The supplied chart enumerates the outcome of a survey which sampled 100,000 individuals to know their visits to abroad from 1994 to 1998 and the another chart depicts their destinations of same period. The highlighting feature is most of the visits made by UK residents to Western Europe for the purpose of holiday in 1998.

The minutest visits made by UK residents were to North America in 1994 for some unknown reasons whereas the maximal visits to Western Europe for spending holidays. It was nearly 15,000. Western Europe was the favourite place of UK residents in 1995 for holidays. In contrast to holidays, trivial visits were made for business and visits to friends and relatives in all these five years. The feeblest visits was made to North America by UK residents in 1996 for other reasons. It was nearly 1,000.

Moreover, the visits to Western Europe mounted year by year for the purpose of holidays. It reached to roughly 19,700 in 1997. Whereas the least visits was to, anew, North America which upsurged to nearly 1560. In the year 1998, the topmost visits was made for the purpose of holidays, over, to Western Europe. The visits was virtually 24,500. The supreme visits was to Western Europe and was for the purpose of holidays.

While analysing overall, the gutter visits made in 1995, which was 896. The mostest visits was in 1998 to Western Europe roughly 25,000. Even the supreme visits was made for the purpose of holidays.
