The following table and graph give information about the gross domestic product (GDP) and employment sectors of a developing country.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The given table and graph present a detailed analysis belonging to gross domestic product and employment sectors of an unknown developing nation. The table depicts precise percentages obtained by distribution of employment and GDP in the year 2004, whereas the graph represents the percentages of GDP from the year 1998 to 2007 in terms of Services, Natural resources and Industry.
From the table, it is clear that there is no particular relation between the percentages of employment and GDP of different divisions. The employment rate or percentage is highest in Natural resources with 77.4 percent, whereas the GDP was higher in Services, particularly in Trade, Restaurants and Hotels with 37.4 percent. Following the majority, the Government services occupies the second highest percentage with 8.7 while the Natural resources acquire this position in terms of GDP with approximately half the percentage of the majority. In the remaining sectors, the employment in Industry and Others division takes up indefinitely one half of the Government employment while the services in Trade, Restaurants, Hotels posses one by twentieth of the employment distribution. On the basis of GDP, The industry and Government display minimal difference with 15.4 and 12.5 percentages respectively exceeding the percentage of transport and communication services by around 6 percent. The least standing is awarded to the Transport, Communication services in employment and Others in GDP.
From the graph, it is derive that the GDP of industry throughout the years is indirectly proportional to the Natural resources and Services. It is worth noting that the Industry sector has maintained a consistent growth with no fluctuations in the time span between 1998 and 2007. The GDP of services decreased at a constant rate from 1998 to the middle of 2002 without any significant changes. From 2003, though very small in scale, the acceleration of decrement increases and resulted in a straight slope travelling downwards. In the case of Natural resources, the GDP decreased gradually without any fluctuations from 1998 to 2004. It increased sharply in 2005 and decreased at the same rate by the end of 2006 and continued decreasing till 2007.
