The given flow chart shows the various sources of natural gas and the way it is distributed.
summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given chart describes the distribution flow of Natural gas and its sources from where it is obtained.
The main sources for Natural gas are from the Gas wells, Oil wells and importing through ships from distant places. The distribution occurs from regional pipeline in various steps by transporting it to retail consumers.
Gas from its sources is refined before reaching the underground storage at refineries and plants. Once after the gas reaches the storage it is then distributed in pipelines to banks located at different regions. Later, from these storages, it then distributed using road containers and rail wagons to retail storages and further to retail consumers in small amounts.
On a glance, it can be seen that wagons have a capacity of 24,000 litres and are little expensive due to rail lines whereas, containers have larger storage of 40,000 litres and can be transported through roads. The retail storage has a capacity of 120,000 litres from where it is further distributed using small delivery trucks holding a capacity of 12,000 litres to retail consumers.
