The line graph illustrates the global water utilised in three different sectors(agriculture, industrial, and the domestic) in the world. While the table presents information about the water consumption countries of Brazil and Republic of Congo.
Overall, the highest water utilisation has been shown by the agricultural sector and the lowest by the domestic sector. On the other hand, the water consumption presented in the table is more than that of Republic of Congo.
The sector of agriculture was on peak since 1900 occupying near 500km of land for irrigation , however it continued to increase up to the end of period that is in year 2000. While the industrial and domestic sectors were coinciding from 1990n to about 1940, the industrial sector showed a drastic rise in the water usage. Furthermore, the domestic sector showed a slight increase in the global use of water to the end of year 2000.
Moreover, Brazil with a population of 176 million irrigated land of 26500km which provided 359m of water consumption per person. Democratic Republic of Congo used 100km of land for irrigation for a population of 5.2 million people ensuring 8m of water consumption per person.
