The graph provides information of consuming water by agriculture, industrial use and domestic use through the 19th century. Moreover, the table detailed data from using water by three main parts ( population, irrigated lands and water consumption per person) in Brazil and Congo at the last year of the century.
Overall, water use by agriculture sector was significantly more than two other areas in the world as well as consumption of water in Brazil was highly far from in comparison with it in Congo.
From 1900 to 1950, the graph fluctuated slightly for industrial and domestic use of water but then it increased gradually for the first area and passed the amount of 1000 km3 consumption in 2000.
On the other hand, as the population of Brazil was about three times of population in D.R.C, the most amount of water per person was used in this country which includes the number of 359 m3. By contrast, irrigated lands for both countries had the peak of uses in 2000.
