The graph below gives information about how much people in the United States and the United Kingdom spend on petrol.

The graph illustrates the money spent by people in the United States and the United Kingdom on fuels in three group categories namely the poorest, the middle-income, and the richest.

Overall, the poorest people in the United States record the biggest spending on fuels compared to other categories. Opposite to that fact, the richest in the United Kingdom spent the biggest budget on fuels.

In the United States, the poorest people approximately spend 3.9% until 5.3% of their income on fuel. The number decreases in the middle-income people who spend 3.9% until 5% of their income to buy fuel. Compared to the other groups, the richest people in the USA spend only 2.2% until 3.9% of their income on fuel.

On the other hand, the poorest people in the United Kingdom only use 0.5% until 2.9% of their income on fuel. Meanwhile, the middle-income people increase their budget on fuel with 2.7% until 3.9% of their income. The richest people in the UK spent 3.2% until 3.9% of their income to purchase fuel.
