It is clear that the percentage of people who were born in Asia was always increased throughout the period. While the UK saw a declining trend. However, the total was overtook Asia, the UK and the other and to also witnessed a slight surge in the end.
Starting at 14% in 1976, the UK has the highest percent of people living in that country. But it continuously declined to reach at 5% in 2011. Likewise the UK, the other country began at 1% is initially ranked just behind the UK's , saw an initial fall from 12% to around 7% in the first 10 years. Between 1986 to 2006, there was a significant growth in the number of residents living in other countries from about 7% to around 14%. During the period from 2006 to 2011 saw a slight decrease in the rate of inhabitants living in other countries from about 14% to around 12%. By contrast, the proportion of people living in Asia began at the lowest point in comparison with the UK and the other. It was around 3% in 1976. From 1976 to 2011, the percent of people living in Asia surged dramatically from about 3% to 15%
Turning to the total, it started at around 23%. Between 1976 to 2001 saw a considerable decline in the proportion of residents from about 25% to around 20%. From 2001 to 2011 witnessed a significant rise in the percent of inhabitant to 25%.
