The line graph compares different changes in workforce employment in the USA within 80 years.

Overall, the figures for farming, fishing, and foresting experienced a downward trend except that for other sectors during the period. It is also clear that while the industrial sector took the lead, farming, fishing, and foresting ranked the lowest at the end of the period.

Starting at well under 80% in 1930, the number of employees in the farming, fishing, and foresting sector witnessed a continuous decrease to nearly 2% by 2010. In contrast, the industrial sector became the highest, rising significantly from approximately 1% in 1930 to 38% in 2010.

From 1930 to 2010, there were slight changes in the proportion of technical, sales, and office workforce, from 1% and 2% in 1930 to 20% and 30% by 2010 respectively. Likewise, there was almost no change in the employment rate of other services, which remained relatively stable at around 10%.
