The line graph compares the rate of money in US dollars spent by the countries namely Germany, France, Italy and Austria to buy books from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, it is clear from the graph that Germany spend much more money to buy books than other countries throughout the given time period, whereas Austria spent least money but they reached to the third position in the last year.
In 1995, Austria spent not as money as other countries spent at 30 million dollars. Italy spent 15 million dollars to buy books in 1995, although this was slightly less than the amount spent by France at around 55 million dollars. From 1997, France increased their expenditure for buying book and reached at around $75000000 in 2005. Similarly, Italy also followed an increasing trend and spend more than 60 million dollars in 2005.
However, during the 10 year period from 1995 Germany remained in the highest position in spending money to buy books. In 1995, they spent 80 million dollars and spend nearly hundred million dollars in 2005.
