The graph below shows the amount of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years.
The graph compares three companies in terms of waste which was discharged by them in 15 years.
It is clear that there is a downward trend in the waste output of company A while that of company C witnessed a considerable growth over the period given. On the contrary, the amount of waste produced by company B increased fast until 2005 and then it went down significantly.
In 2000, the figure for company A was the highest with 12 tons of waste. By contrast, the proportion of waste produced by company B and C was quite low, which were 9 tons and 5 tons of waste. Half a decade later, the volume of waste which was produced by company C was gradually climbing up. Also, the figure for company B grew considerably to about 10 tons. By contrast, that of company A began falling slowly to about 11 tons of waste. In 2015, the proportion for company B decreased tremendously, which was nearly 3 tons of waste while that of company C went up remarkably to about 10 tons. Meanwhile, company A saw a reduction in waste production, which was 9 tons of waste.
Overall, there is a general decrease in waste production of company A and B while company C experienced a rise over the period given.
