Overall, It shows that United Kingdom has higher number of people who emit CO2 whereas, In Portugal lowest number of people are recorded to emit CO2 as compared to other three countries.
In 1967 a singe person in United Kingdom emitted almost 11 metric tones of CO2 and gradually declined to nearly 8 tones in 2007. However, In Sweden at the beginning close to 9 tones of CO2 was emitted by a single person but than later in 1977 almost 11 tones of CO2 was emitted by a particular person which almost reached to the same level of United Kingdom in 1977. Sweden gradually declined later on and reached to almost 5 metric tones per person in 2007.
Italy in 1967 roughly 4.2 tones of oxygen was emitted by a person but it increased accordingly. It almost reached 6.2 tones in 1987 and increased up to a point where it was stable in both the year 1997 and 2007 which was merely 7.5 tones emitted by a single person. The lowest level of CO2 emitted by a single person was recorded in Portugal which was nearly 2 tones in 1967 but later it increased gradually to almost 5 tones in 1997. Furthermore, It reached to roughly 5.1 metric tones in 2007.
