The graph below shows the average growth in domestic products in wealthy countries, countries that have adopted a global approach to business and countries that have not.
The graph provides the rate of annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in different kind of countries: wealthy, globalisers and non-globalisers countries in respectively 1960, 1970, 1980 and 1990s.
Overall, there are an upward trend of annual GDP growth in globalisers countries, wealthy countries have a decrease of rate over the years and we see a fluctuation on average from 1970 concerning non-globalisers countries.
Globalisers states increased on amount from about 1.4% in 1960 to 2.8% in 1970 to reach slightly 3.2% in 1980 then rose dramatically the top of 4.9% in 1990. While we have a downward trend in term of GDP rate of wealthy countries dropping from about 4.7% in 1960 to 2.8% in 1970 and continued falling to reach 2% in 1990.
Non-globalisers countries followed a fluctuation in the average of GDP growth: Firstly, increased from 1960 to 1970 then fell the amount of 0.9% in 1980 and finally, upgrade to 1.4% in 1990.
In fact, countries adopted a global approach to business have a success evolution over time rather than wealthy and non-globalisers countries.
