Overall, the number of Vietnamese students in France and America increased significantly, while the international students from Vietnam in Russia declined gradually between 2000 and 2015.
In 2000, the most exchange students of Vietnam learnt in France and Russia was around 3-3.5 millions. This was far higher than the international student from Vietnam in America, which was about 1.5 millions. However, from 2005 to 2015 the number of Vietnamese students gradually rose to finish at about 5 millions students.
From 2005 to 2015 the international students in both France and America increased gradually and finished at around 4.5-5 millions. Whereas the number of Vietnamese students declined slightly about 2.5 millions at the end of the period.
