The table gives information about how much time women and men in six different nations retired in 2003.
In general, the number of years men retiring was more than women in both countries. It can be seen that Japan accounted for the highest retirement age, while the lowest was in France for both genders.
The Koreans spent the longest time in retirement for both genders, at 64 years and eight months for men, and 67 years and two months for women in 2003. Furthermore, Australia, the USA, and Japan had the same patterns in the average retirement age. Males spent 64 years, and a month in total, in the case of women, there are 67 years and four months.
People who live in Italy and France retired under 60 years old and made up the lowest number on the chart. The average Italian males and females were 58 years and 57 years, respectively. France recorded the least age of retirement, with 57 and 4 months for men and 56 and 9 months for women.
