From 1981 to 2007 the consumption of 3 different spreads (margarine, butter and low fat and reduced spreads). This information shown in a line graph and unit are measured in grams.
Overall, the consumption trend of 3 kind spreads were decreased. At the beginning of the year, butter was the most popular spread, but since 1996 low fat and reduced spreads was introduced and it could become the most favourite at the end of the year.
In 1981 the amount of butter was more than 140 grams and the amount of margarine was more than 80 grams. Start from 1981 to 1986, butter growth was climb and margarine movement was declined. The loss of butter trend was started since 1986. Based on the graph, from 1986 to 2007 trend for margarine was fluctuated.
From 1996 to 2001, the consumption of lowfl fa and reduced spread was rocket to above 80 grams. 6 years later, low fat and spreads was slightly reduced.
