The graph compares the British typical daily demand for electricity in two different seasons. The pie chart shows what the electricity is used for in the England household.
Firstly, the electricity is consumed constantly in summer higher than that in summer. There is the peak consumption of electricity at about 22 am in the winter while witness the summer peak of this at 14 am.(45000 units and 20000 units respectively) In winter, the grown of demand for electricity between 7 am and 22 am, with remarkably increasing from 30000 units to 45000 units. In contrast, from 9 am to 14 am in summer see a slight increment to 20000 units, subsequently, it has a fluctuation between around 18000 with 20000 units.
Otherwise, the heating facility is the most factor in consuming electricity, which about 52.5%. Ovens, kettles, washing machines also play a vital role in English home, with the proportion placed 17.5%. The interesting thing is that we can see the same percentage in household appliances, such as TV, food mixers, electric tool and so on, which are divided to two parts and represent 15% respectively.
Overall, there is an apparent difference in the demand for electricity in summer and winter. The electricity distribution for different purpose is also various.
