Regarding Canada, it exported approximately 19 million tons of wheat in 1985, followed by a slight decrease to about 17 million tons in 1986. It witnessed a sharp increase to 25 million tons between 1987 and 1988, followed by a rapid drop to below 15 million tons in 1989. Finally, the Canadian wheat exports climbed to just below 20 million tons in 1990.
