The provided illustrations show certain differences between a student room for two people ($350/a week) and for one person ($200/a week) at an Australian university.
It is clear that the two-person room is wider and has more range of furniture than the one-person room.
Looking at the maps in more detail, although two rooms both have the same length at 6 meters, the $350 room is 1.5 meters wider than the $200 room, which partly explains why the price of the former is considerably higher than the latter. What is more, in the room for two people, there is a microwave, a stove and a stink against the Western wall while these equipment is against the Southern wall in the room for one person. Besides, the two-person room is equipped with a set of a round-shaped table and two chairs while this set is not available in the one-person room. Interestingly, there is an additional large cupboard situated in the middle of the room for two undergraduates which almost divides the room into two sections, each with a bed and a study desk.
