The line graph shows the information about how many inquires received by the Tourist Information Office in a particular city from January to June in 2011.
It is clear from the line graph that the number of inquiries in person experienced the most dramatic change during the research period. Additionally, while the figure for letter decreased, there were sharp increases in the number of inquire in person and by telephone.
In January, the Tourist Information Office received about 900 inquiries from telephone, while the figure for letter started at just under 800. Approximately 450 inquires in person were chosen by tourist. Over the next three months, the number for telephone increased slightly and then it leveled off at 1000 inquires until April, whereas there was a significant growth in the figure in person, around 1200.
From April to June, the office received inquires in person continued to rise sharply to 1900, which was the highest figure of three means of communication. By contrast, the number for letter went in the opposite direction and it reached the lowest point of only under 400.
